Message	do the factory amp bypass and run all new aftermarket speaker wire to all of the speakers. It will be worth your time because you will know it is installed properly and will have piece of mind. The factory wiring is getting old and if has not developed a problem, chances are very good that it will. Be sure to do it correctly the first time and double check all connections and wiring, AND check for functionality BEFORE putting it all back together. If you are even considering doing a 4ch amp or amp and sub in the future you may as well go ahead and purchase an amp wiring kit and install it while you are all torn apart.
